Leaks, blockages, hot water and bathroom fit-outs — diagnosed carefully, quoted in writing, and finished without leaving a mess behind.

Work we take on

Houses, flats and small commercial units — repairs, replacements and full bathroom installs.

Callout hours

Weekdays from early morning to early evening, with Saturday mornings kept free for urgent leaks.

How we leave it

Floors covered before we start, old parts taken away, and the work explained before we pack up.

Services

What we get called out for

Most of our week is one of the six jobs below. If yours isn't listed, describe it in the quote form and we'll tell you honestly whether it's ours to fix.

Leak tracing & repair

Damp patches, dripping joints and pressure drops traced back to the source before anything gets cut open.

  • Joint & valve repairs
  • Tank and cistern leaks

Blocked drains & waste

Slow sinks, gurgling showers and backed-up outside gullies cleared, then checked to see why it happened.

  • Sink, bath & shower waste
  • Toilet & soil stack blockages

Taps, mixers & showers

Worn cartridges swapped, seized fittings freed, and new mixers set on sound pipework rather than a hopeful seal.

  • Kitchen & basin taps
  • Shower valves & risers

Bathroom fit-outs

First and second fix for a new bathroom or en-suite, working to a set sequence so the room isn't out of use longer than agreed.

  • Suite & screen installs
  • Waste & feed re-routing

Hot water & cylinders

Lukewarm taps, noisy cylinders and unbalanced pressure looked at as a system rather than one part at a time.

  • Cylinder & immersion work
  • Pressure & flow balancing

Pipework renewal

Old lead or brittle runs replaced in copper or plastic, routed sensibly so the next repair doesn't mean lifting the whole floor.

  • Section & full re-pipes
  • Isolation valves fitted

How it works

Three steps, no surprises

The part most people worry about isn't the repair — it's not knowing what happens after they send an enquiry. Here's the whole of it.

01

Tell us what's happening

Send the form with a short description of the problem and when you're usually home. We reply by email with the questions we need answered and a visit window.

02

We look, then we quote

We diagnose on site and give you a fixed price in writing before any tool comes out of the van. If the job turns out to be smaller than expected, the price follows it down.

03

Fixed, tested and tidied

The repair is pressure-tested in front of you, the old parts leave with us, and you get a written note of what was changed for your records.

Workmanship

A standard we'd accept at home

Terra Line is a small outfit by choice. The person who quotes your job is the person who does it, which is the simplest way we know to keep the standard steady.

  • Fixed price first

A written quote before work starts. If something genuinely unforeseen appears, we stop and agree the change with you rather than adding it at the end.

  • Your floors protected

Sheets down, boots off or covered, and a clear-up at the end of each day rather than only on the last one.

  • Parts explained

We tell you which part failed, why it failed and what we're replacing it with — including when the cheaper option is the sensible one.

  • One plumber, start to finish

No hand-offs mid-job and no subcontracted returns. You deal with the same person from the first visit to the final test.

Questions

Before you get in touch

The five things people ask us most often, answered plainly so you can decide whether we're the right call.

How is the price worked out?

Small repairs are quoted as a fixed price once we've seen the job; larger work such as a bathroom fit-out is quoted per stage. Either way you get the figure in writing before we begin, and it includes parts, labour and taking the old materials away.

How quickly can you come out?

Active leaks and total loss of water are moved to the front of the list, usually the same or next working day. Planned work — a new suite, a re-pipe, a tap swap — is booked into a window we agree together so you're not waiting in all day.

Do I need to buy the parts?

No. We carry the common fittings, seals and valves on the van and source anything else. If you've already bought a suite or a particular tap, we're happy to fit it — we'll just tell you first if it isn't suited to your pressure or pipework.

What do you need from me on the day?

Access to the stopcock, a clear route to the work, and somewhere to put a couple of toolboxes. If the job affects the water supply we'll let you know the day before roughly how long it will be off.

Do you work on rented properties?

Yes, for landlords and for tenants with their landlord's approval in writing. Quotes and job notes can be emailed to whoever is paying, which usually saves a round of phone calls between everyone involved.
